If you want to retrieve photos deleted on your phone or computer, you can do it in a few steps. Images are usually not immediately irrevocably removed, but first moved to a filing cabinet. From there, you can then delete or restore them permanently.

Accidentally deleted the wrong pictures? You can easily find them in the recycle bin. There is a recycle bin on the computer and on the cell phone. Here, all deleted files are first stored and then have to be deleted again manually. Of course, you can also restore them. Recovered files can be found in the original location.

Find deleted photos in Windows

1. Click in the Windows search bar.
2. Enter Recycle Bin.
3. Confirm with "Enter".
4. The Recycle Bin will open.
5. You will see all the deleted files sorted in chronological tire order.
6. Select one or more photos and select "Recover" if you want to undo the deletion.
7. Select "Empty Trash" to remove all files.

1. Open the Google Photos app.
