Windows 10: Get Insider builds - here's how

If you take a closer look at the update settings in Windows 10, you'll notice that you can get Insider builds. This allows you to preview all of Windows' new features as well as updates.

How to retrieve the Insider builds in Windows 10

By retrieving the Insider builds, you can try out and test all the new Windows features in advance.

1. Start your PC or laptop and open Windows Settings. To do this, press the key combination of Windows key and i.
2. You will now see an overview, from which you click the "Update and Security" button.
3. A new menu will now appear. Click there on "Windows Update" and subsequently on "Advanced Options".
4. You will now see more sub-items, from which you click "Get Insider Builds".
5. Then press the button "Let's go".
6. Now you have to wait a moment until Windows has made the changes. Once the interface is grayed out and the words "Some settings are managed by your organization" appear, the Insider builds are retrieved.
