How to set up Microsoft Teams

In order to use Microsoft Teams in the best possible way and according to your individual needs, the software must be set up for you in advance. To do this, certain criteria must be met so that you can join a team and then work with it.
  1. First, start the Microsoft Teams application.
  2. On Windows, click on the Windows icon and then select "Microsoft Teams". If, on the other hand, you have a Mac, then first go to "Applications" and then to "Microsoft Teams". For the app, simply tap the corresponding icon for the application.
  3. After that, you still need to log in with your username and password that you use for Microsoft 365.
  4. To customize your profile to your person, you can still make changes in the "Settings", such as a profile picture, a username or many other factors.
  5. Then select your team by clicking on the icon for "Teams" in the bar on the left and select a channel.
  6. There you will also find various tabs. For example, for conversations and files, but there are many more options available to you here.
