Deleting Microsoft Teams History: Is it possible?

Microsoft Teams is an application that allows you to communicate with others via chats and video calls. Time and again, the question arises whether you can also delete the history on Teams. Unless you delete your entire account on Teams, however, this is only possible to a limited extent.

How to clear Microsoft Teams history

You cannot delete the history of calls on Teams. Similarly, it is not possible to delete the activity feed or individual posts in the respective groups. However, you can remove yourself as a member of a team and delete individual chat messages:

• Remove team: To do this, click on Teams in the left-hand toolbar and then on the team you want to delete. Now click on the "3-dot icon" of the team and select "Leave team" there.
• Delete teams chat message: To do this, click on the message and the "3-dot icon". There you select the option "Delete". However, you can not delete messages received from other participants in this way.

Delete Microsoft Teams permanently

Either remove yourself from all Teams groups or ask the organization administrator to remove you from all Teams. In this case, you will no longer be accessible on Teams.
