Content, devices, price: this is Xbox Cloud Gaming

Nevertheless, it is initially a beta. This means that Microsoft can't yet guarantee that all features and server capacities will match the final ideas. Nevertheless, the service seems on the whole stable, final and comprehensive.
  • The official release was on September 15, 2020.
  • The focus of the cloud project is initially on mobile gaming: Together with suitable input devices, the smartphone is to become a full-fledged gaming platform.
  • This also means that you can use the cloud service neither on the Xbox nor on the PC - however, this is planned fixed. Until then, crossplay with players on the other platforms is possible.
  • In addition, you can not book Xbox Cloud Gaming separately, as it is automatically part of the Game Pass Ultimate for 12.99 euros monthly.
  • In return, you have access to over 170 games from the Game Pass to play them on the move in the cloud.
Be aware that currently only Android mobile devices are supported. According to Microsoft, this will remain the case for the foreseeable future, as this is up to Apple itself. For a listing of all games and more info, check out this Xbox page.
