Microsoft Teams is an application that is coupled with Office programs - such as Outlook. Within the settings of Microsoft Teams, you can change your profile picture in the process, but also your username. The password, on the other hand, must be changed via your Microsoft account, which means that it will also be changed in all associated applications.

1. If you are not yet logged in with your Microsoft account, then you should first log in at "account.microsoft.com" with your access data for the respective account.
2. Now select the "Security" option in the header. Here you must then enter your current credentials again, as it is confidential information.
3. Now click on "Password Security".
4. Thereupon select "Change my password".
5. If you also want to be reminded to change your password at regular intervals, you can also check the box that reminds you every 72 days.
6. To confirm the changes, finally click "Save".
7. Should it happen that you can not change your password, then this can also be reset with a few simple steps. Then you also have the option to set a new password for your account.
