If your Apple AirPods no longer charge properly or do not connect to your iPhone, this may be due to a defect. However, before you send in the headphones, you should try to perform a reset. This often works wonders and fixes most problems.

Reset AirPods - how it works

When problems with the AirPods does not always have to be directly a defect the cause. In many cases, a simple reset is already enough to remedy the situation. Follow these steps to reset the AirPods:
  1. Place the AirPods in the charging case. Note that the headphones should not be completely discharged and charge them first if necessary.
  2. Hold down the setup button on the case until the status indicator flashes alternately yellow and white.
  3. Remove the AirPods from the charging case.
