Garmin Vivosmart: Display defective

The display of the Vivosmart is important because you can turn on and control the device through it. Tapping the screen twice will activate your fitness wristband. If you touch the touchscreen longer, you will enter the menu.

Display broken: submit a repair request to Garmin for your Vivosmart

If the display of your Vivosmart no longer works, you can send it to Garmin for repair. To do this, you make a corresponding request via the manufacturer's website. The following steps are necessary for a repair request:
  1. First, call up this Garmin website and enter the model name or serial number of your Vivosmart.
  2. Then you will be asked for your residence.
  3. Followed by this, you must specify whether the repair request refers to the device or the accessories.
  4. Now you will be shown a list of complaint reasons from which you must select. You can also specify under "Other" a problem that is not present in the list, for example, a defect in the screen.
  5. Now you must finally enter your contact details.
However, processing via the form is only possible if you are still in the warranty period, that is, up to two years after the date of purchase. Otherwise, you must contact the customer service by phone. After you have filled out the form in the service portal, you will receive an RMA number.
