How to find out your Apple ID
If you forget your Apple ID, you can no longer access many services. Fortunately, there are several ways you can find out your Apple ID. If you are logged in to an Apple device, you can look up your ID directly in Settings.
How to find out your Apple ID
If you are already signed in on an Apple device, then you can find your Apple ID directly in the settings. To do this, open the corresponding app on your iPhone or iPad and click on your name at the top. Here you will see the Apple ID directly under your name. But there are other options.- On the Mac, click on the Apple sign at the top left and select "System Preferences" and then "Apple ID".
- Alternatively, Apple offers you a web page where you can enter your first and last name and another email address. After that, click "Continue." Now you will be told your Apple ID associated with that name.
- Another option is provided by the Apple ID web page. Click on "Forgot your Apple ID or password?" Once you are prompted to provide your Apple ID, select the "Search for it here" button instead. Again, you will now need to provide your name and another email address.
- The Apple ID is usually your email address that you signed up with Apple. Try other addresses if necessary, if you use more than one.
- If no approach has helped, contact Apple support directly.
