Blizzard: Enter key for games - how it works

Digital purchases have long been the standard for PC gamers. If you don't buy a key directly from the publisher or in the gaming client, you have to enter it. We show how it works for games for the Blizzard launcher.

Browser instead of launcher: game keys can be entered on the Blizzard website.

The Blizzard launcher has existed for many years and has all in-house games tied to it.

Blizzard: How to enter game keys

The entry can be made both in the launcher and in the browser. First, the browser variant:

1. Log in to account.blizzard.com.
2. Click on "Account Overview" on the left, if you have not landed there.
3. Enter the key at the top in the designated field.
4. Click on "Redeem Code".

In the launcher it is even easier: There you will find the option "Redeem Code" for each game under the logo.The game or the in-game item are then activated and assigned to your account. In the Battle.net launcher, you can start the installation and then play.
