Sky Ticket: Change parental control PIN - how it works

To prevent your children from accessing inappropriate content on Sky Ticket, you have the option of using a parental control PIN. How you can create and change this and what helps if you have forgotten the PIN, we show you in this article.

Sky Ticket: How to change the parental control PIN

For certain series and movies that have an age rating from 16 or 18 years, it is necessary when using Sky Ticket that you enter a parental control PIN. If you have not yet activated the PIN function or would like to change your current PIN, please first call up the Sky Ticket login page.
  1. Then log in to Sky Ticket with your user data and go to "My Account" > "My Sky Ticket" > "Parental Controls".
  2. If you want to set up a parental control PIN for the first time, click on "Create a new PIN" and enter the code you want to use as a parental control PIN.
  3. To make a change to the PIN, please first enter your current PIN code in the "Change an existing PIN" area before you set a new PIN and confirm it.

Change PIN: What to do if you forget your parental PIN

If you have forgotten your parental PIN, you cannot use the method described above to change it. Instead, it is necessary for you to reset the PIN or request a new code. Log in to your Sky account for this as well and navigate to "My Account" > "My Sky Ticket" > "Parental Controls". After entering your customer number, your zip code and your date of birth, you will receive a temporary PIN that you can use to log in again.
