Enabling Speakers: Here's how easy it is

Want to activate your speakers but they don't work after you plug them in? With multiple audio output devices like speakers, headsets, and monitors, it's easy to inadvertently adjust something.

The first thing you should do is disconnect and reconnect your speakers from your PC once. Also check if all connections are made correctly. Also, check that a volume control has not been accidentally muted. If everything is correct with the cabling, but the sound from your sound system is still off, you can try to activate the speakers via Windows using the following instructions. This will also work for previously disabled devices.

Enable speakers using Windows

While the speakers are connected and turned on, do the following:

1. Click on the small speaker in the bottom right of the taskbar with right-click and go to the "Open Sound Settings" menu.
2. Now select the appropriate device at the top of the list.
3. Then click "Troubleshoot" below and follow the instructions from Windows.

Funktioniert dies nicht oder wird das Gerät erst gar nicht aufgeführt, könnte ein Defekt vorhanden sein. Prüfen Sie auch die Kabel auf gebrochene Stellen.
