Creating GIFs with Radeon ReLive: How it works

The Radeon software not only allows comprehensive graphics card settings, but also has special tools for video capture. Read how you can create GIFs with ReLive.

Short, crisp, trendy: GIFs are also popular in gaming.

GIFs are a popular and trendy format. With Radeon software, PC gamers can capture their moments via GIF at any time.

How to create GIFs with Radeon ReLive

As a Radeon graphics card owner, proceed as follows:
  1. In the Radeon settings, check whether instant GIFs are enabled. To do this, open "Settings" in the program and then "General", where you will find "Instant GIF".
  2. Directly below it, you can set the duration of the GIFs from 5 to 30 seconds. Also, you have three options in the GIF quality.
  3. While playing, you just need to press "Ctrl "+"Shift "+"J" to save a GIF of the last few seconds. The length depends on the set duration (see point 2).
You can then find the GIF in the specified location, which you can also see in the settings. A GIF of this type is between 50 and 100 MB in size at 15 seconds in length. Um die GIFs zu teilen, bietet sich der Upload auf Videoportalen wie YouTube an, da der direkte Versand wegen der Dateigröße in vielen Chat-Programmen nicht möglich ist.
