A backup can be created very quickly in Windows 10. However, if you want to have more control and scope in the backup, you need to resort to external software.- To begin, press the [Windows] key and search for the "Control Panel".
- Select the first choice from the results and immediately navigate to the "System and Security" category in the new window.
- Now move on to "Security and Maintenance", where you select the item "Configure System Restore".
- In the new window, now select the "Create" button at the bottom right to set up a new backup.
