Charge Fitbit: Get started again

To charge your Fitbit, you need to pay attention to which model you have. Both charging times and battery life vary from device to device. To check the battery level of your Fitbit, simply make the appropriate setting in the dashboard for this purpose.

Charge Fitbit: Connecting the Tracker

Depending on the extent to which you use the Fitbit's features, you may need to charge the tracker more often or less often than the stated average battery life. The exact charging process varies depending on what Fitbit model you have.
  1. If you want to charge the Fitbit Blaze or Fitbit Versa, detach the tracker from the wristband. To do this, press the screen with feeling.
  2. Then place the tracker on the charging cradle so that the display faces you.
  3. The four golden pins must rest correctly on the charging cradle. Then close the lid. Once charging begins, the battery icon will light up.
  4. Other trackers, such as the Fitbit Charge, the Fitbit Alta or the Fitbit Ace, charge by connecting them to the charging cable.
  5. A complete charging cycle usually takes about two hours.

Charge Fitbit: Checking the battery level

Some Fitbit trackers will show you the current battery level on the display. However, you can additionally view the information about the remaining battery life in the Fitbit app by swiping down on the "Today" tab. There you can also change the settings to show a permanent battery icon on the display of the tracker.
