Locate Android - how to find your phone
It can happen that you are inattentive for a moment and then you don't know exactly where your smartphone has gone. For this case, there is the tracking system that allows you to find your phone again. However, this function must be activated for this purpose. The best way is to use a tracking app.
How to locate an Android?
In order to use the phone's location function, you should download and set up the "Android Device Manager" app. After that, you can find your phone using Google's Find my Devices page.- Search for the Find my Device app in the Google Play Store and download it.
- Log in to the app with your Google account and allow the app to access your location.
- Make sure there is a green check mark next to "Find my device" under "Settings" > "Security" > "Users" > "Device administrator".
- If your device is now lost, you can track it down via Google's Find page. To do this, open the page and log in.
- Now you can select your smartphone at the top left and locate it. On the map in the right pane, you will then see the location of the smartphone. You also have the option to delete your data from the phone via PC, if it has fallen into the wrong hands.
