The Samsung Galaxy A70, together with the Galaxy A80, forms the mid-range segment of Samsung smartphones. Due to its technical features, the Galaxy A70 does not need to hide behind its big brother, the Galaxy A80.

With an introductory price of 399 euros, the Galaxy A70 was around 219 euros cheaper than the Galaxy A80.

• The Galaxy A70 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, which is supported by 6 gigabytes of RAM.
• In terms of storage, the smartphone is equipped with 128 gigabytes of memory, which can be expanded by up to 512 gigabytes with the help of a microSD card.
• The installed battery holds around 4,500 mAh and is not replaceable. According to Samsung, the battery lasts up to 14 hours in use. Inductive charging, such as in the Samsung Galaxy S10, is not supported.
• A 6.7-inch (17.03 cm) Super AMOLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 is used as the display.
• Unlike the Galaxy A80, the A70 model has a 3.5 mm jack port, which you can use to connect headphones.
• The main camera on the back of the Galaxy A80 has 32 megapixels (f1.7). In addition, video recordings in UHD 4K and 30fps (frames per second) are possible with the camera of the A70. The front camera resolves with 32 megapixels (f2.0).
• The Galaxy A70 is an Android smartphone and can be updated to the latest version of the operating system, Android 11, from May 2021.

Furthermore, the Galaxy A70 is equipped with a dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C port as well as NFC support.
