If you use an Android device, but you still don't want to give up using AirPods, you can simply pair the two devices together. However, this is not done automatically as it is with the iPhone. Nevertheless, you only need a few steps to connect the headphones with the Android.

How to use your AirPods with an Android smartphone

If you own an Android, you usually cannot use add-on devices from Apple. However, this is different with AirPods, as they work via Bluetooth. Pairing between AirPods and an iPhone is almost automatic, whereas several steps are required for an Android. For this, you only need the sync button on the charging case of the headphones.

1. Lay the AirPods in the supplied charging case and connect it to a power source.
2. Then open the lid of the case. Now observe the LED, which usually indicates charging.
