Follow these steps:
  1. Open the "Settings" and then "Lock screen".
  2. Scroll down a bit and tap on "App shortcuts".
  3. Now you see the possible positions for shortcuts and their assignment. Tap on a setting, such as "Left Shortcut", to select an app there.
This way you can reach your most important apps via shortcut. Especially with the camera this can be very useful to shoot photos spontaneously, but also the phone is a popular shortcut.
