Mac Shortcuts - Shortcuts at a glance
As with Windows, you have a whole range of shortcuts and keyboard shortcuts available on the Mac to make your work faster and more comfortable. Since the keyboard layouts of the two operating systems differ, it is especially for newcomers at first an adjustment.
You should know these shortcuts
In addition to the various shortcuts located on the F keys, you can use a variety of keyboard shortcuts to shortcut actions.- Use the combination [Cmd] and [A] to select all objects.
- Press [Cmd] and [C] to copy selected objects.
- Use [Cmd] + [V] to paste the copied objects afterwards.
- Use [Cmd] and [F] to open a search window or search for specific elements within a document.
- Using the combination [Cmd] and [Z] to undo your last action.
- [Cmd] and [P] opens the printer dialog.
- If you want to save something, this works with the combination [Cmd] and [S].
- If an app has hung up, you can use the combination [Alt / Option] + [Cmd] and [Esc] to force the termination.
- To switch between different applications and windows, you can use the key combination [Cmd] and [Tab].
