Outlook: Sending emails delayed - here's how to do it
With Microsoft's Outlook email program, you can organize all the emails you receive. You also have the ability to create a schedule and view your files. If you want to send an email at a specific time, then you can send it to the desired recipient on a delayed basis.
Outlook: sending your emails delayed
Outlook allows you to view your schedule, emails and all files at the same time. But many emails need to be sent first at certain times. To enable this function, you can also send your mails to the desired recipient time-delayed in Outlook.- To do this, first write the desired e-mail and then go to the "Options" tab.
- Here you will find the "Delay transmission" button under "More options".
- Then click on "Message Options", and here select "Delivery Options".
- Activate the option "Delay delivery until" from.
- Now enter the desired date and time. Both must be in the future.
- Then confirm your selection by clicking "Ok".
- Now click the "Send" button to send the message.
- Now you will see the email in your outbox, but it will only be sent at the time you specified. Note that this requires an Internet connection at the specified time. The email will only be sent when this is available.
