Sending a fax from Outlook - you have this option

With Outlook from Microsoft, you have the option to organize your e-mails and keep track of your appointments via the calendar. In addition, you can use the e-mail function to link different accounts together or even send a fax directly from Outlook to a desired number.

How to send a fax directly from Outlook

With Outlook you can organize your email accounts and manage your appointments using the calendar feature. To use Outlook, you need a free account. To be able to send a fax from Outlook, you also need a fax service, which in turn comes with fees.
  1. Start Outlook on your computer or open the software in your browser.
  2. Then click on the "New email message" option at the top.
  3. Now you can first compose your e-mail and then enter the fax number to which you want to send the e-mail in the line of the recipient.
  4. Make sure that you always enter the necessary area code, such as 0049 or +49 for Germany, with the number. You must also enter the area code of the respective cities.
In some cases, you must first activate the fax service before using it. To do this, go to "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features" and then "Enable or Disable Windows Features". Here you can then enable the "Windows Fax and Scan" option.
