Star Citizen: What's the biggest ship? We name the dimensions

In Star Citizen, as we all know, no small buns are baked. The incredible ambitions are the reason that the completion is still hardly foreseeable. The question of the largest ship fits perfectly into the picture.

Large, larger, Star Citizen: The dimensions of the large ships are quite impressive.

The larger the ship, the more complex the ongoing operation. The sheer size will therefore not be a guarantee for greater gaming fun.

Star Citizen: Largest ship not playable

The final ship range of Star Citizen is not even known yet. The naming of the largest ship is therefore subject to change. As of June 2020, it officially looks like this:
  • The largest playable ship will be the RSI Bengal. The length is a proud 990 meters, the crew is to include up to 755 players.
  • It is a carrier for other ships, modeled on an aircraft carrier. Allegedly, even an Aegis Idris, with about 250 meters not too small itself, in the Bengal find their place.
  • Buyable, however, the Bengal will probably not be.
  • The largest ship that players themselves can own, according to current information, is the RSI Javelin (470 meters). It has already been sold, for about $3,000 each, but is not yet ready to fly.
  • In the solo spin-off, an even significantly larger ship could appear, namely the Retribution with 2,800 meters in length. However, this will not be controllable.
The gigantism that makes Star Citizen as a project is thus reflected in the ships. But do not worry: For normal players, the entry is considerably cheaper possible.
