How to change the background on LinkedIn

Your background image on LinkedIn is displayed in your profile in the introduction card behind your profile photo. For this reason, choosing such a background is important to make an appealing impression. In doing so, you can add a background image, reposition it, delete it and change it. You also have the option to use your own photo.

Add background image

1. In your browser, first open the LinkedIn website.
2. Now go to the icon for "You" on your home page.
3. Then select "View profile".
4. In the upper right corner, you will now see a camera icon. Dieses klicken Sie an.
5. Im Anschluss navigieren Sie zu „Foto hochladen“.
6. Jetzt haben Sie die Möglichkeit, ein auf Ihrem Computer befindliches Bild auszuwählen und mit „Öffnen“ hochzuladen.
7. Mit „Anwenden“ wird das Bild eingefügt.

Eigenes Bild hinzufügen

1. Auf der Startseite von „LinkedIn“ wählen Sie als erstes das Symbol für „Sie“ aus.
2. Nun lassen Sie sich Ihr „Profil anzeigen“.
3. Auf der Vorstellungskarte klicken Sie jetzt das Kamera-Symbol an.
4. Anschließend wählen Sie „Foto ändern“ aus und befolgen die nun erscheinenden Anweisungen auf Ihrem Bildschirm.
5. Jetzt noch ein Bild aus Ihrer Galerie auswählen und die Auswahl mit „Eigenes Bild hinzufügen“ bestätigen.
