Price increase for GeForce NOW: These are the new costs

Not least because of its compatibility with existing game libraries, GeForce NOW has been able to carve out a place for itself in the emerging cloud gaming market. Now, however, there has been a price increase.

Technological journey: GeForce NOW has become more expensive and this is to enable further progress.

However, this did not come as a complete surprise, as Nvidia had always emphasized that GeForce NOW was initially still in the formation and launch phase. An adjustment of the prices was therefore only a matter of time.

GeForce NOW: How expensive is it after the price increase?

In March 2021, the transition to the preliminary final business model then followed.

• In this course, there was a renaming of the formerly 5.49 euro Founders subscription.
• Since then, new customers subscribe to the GeForce Now Priority subscription. The eponymous priority refers to the comparison to the free subscription, which also continues to exist.
• The monthly subscription costs 9.99 Euros each - about twice as much as before.
• The annual bill is slightly cheaper at 99.99 Euros, which is the equivalent of 8.33 Euros per month.
• Pleasant for pioneers: Who has previously used the Founders subscription, which remains on the old price ("Founders for Life").
• Technically, everything remains the same for now: 4K resolution is not yet possible, but 60 FPS in 1080p or 120 FPS in 720p. Auch Raytracing ist enthalten.
