iPhone: Mails are not displayed - what you can do

With the Mail app on your iPhone you can manage all your mails. All you have to do is link your email accounts to the app. However, if not all mails are displayed in the app, this can have different causes. Mostly the error is due to a bad internet connection, so the mails cannot be synchronized.

Having your email accounts connected to your iPhone, you usually receive all mails to the device. This way you can manage them at any time. If not all mails are displayed on your iPhone, this can have different reasons.

1. A working internet connection is needed for your mails to be synchronized. For this reason, first check if this exists.
2. Try to access a web page in your browser. If the internet connection is disturbed, it may help to restart your router.
3. If there is no problem with the internet connection, try to restart the app. Usually, the missing mails will be loaded afterwards.
4. Also check if there is a new update for your iPhone. To do this, go to the "Settings" > "General" and then "Software Update".
5. If the error still exists, it may be that the corresponding option in the settings is disabled. To do this, go to "Settings" and then to "Email accounts". Now click on "Passwords & Accounts". Go to "Data synchronization" here. Now see if the option for automatic retrieval of the mails is enabled.
