Valheim: All bows at a glance - the ranking

The bow is a very effective weapon in Valheim and therefore extremely popular. There are various models available to you, with increasing strength. We list all the bows in the game.

Safe distance: bows mean high damage with less risk.

You can get started with bows and arrows early, as explained here. But the stronger your opponents become, the more important are the increases in the weapons you carry. This applies first and foremost to the bow.

Valheim: All bows with damage listed

In total, there are four bows in Valheim at the state of Early Access:

• Wooden bow: 22 - 31 damage (Level 1 - Level 4) (10 wood, 8 leather scraps)
• Precious wood bow: 32 - 41 damage (Level 1 - Level 4) (10 precious wood, 10 heartwood, 2 deerskin)
• Hunter bow: 42 - 51 damage (Level 1 - Level 4) (10 Precious Wood, 20 Iron, 10 Feather, 2 Deerskin)
• Draugr Fang: 47 damage + 5 poison damage - 56 damage + 20 poison damage (Level 1 - Level 4) (10 Ancient Bark, 10 Goo, 20 Silver, 2 Deerskin)

The upgrade levels always make the bows even significantly stronger, so you should by no means neglect this option. In addition, we recommend looking at all available arrows, because even the best bow without ammunition can do nothing.
