A PIN is supposed to ensure that unauthorized persons do not have access to your phone. However, it can happen that you forget or misplace this and then no longer have access yourself. Simply set up another locking method.use a PUK to reset your PIN. You will usually find the PUK on the same card as your first PIN and cell phone number. This card is sent to you together with the SIM card. In some cases, it is also a letter.

1. If you no longer have this letter at hand, you can simply contact your respective provider. This will then send you the PUK again. Normally, however, you have to pay money for it.
2. If you do not find the PUK and still want to make calls without paying extra money to your provider, then you will have to get a new SIM card willy-nilly.
