• Re:Verse will be the online multiplayer offshoot of Resident Evil Village.
• A separate purchase is neither possible nor necessary, because Re:Verse is accessible to all owners of Resident Evil Village. This applies to all editions.
• In Re:Verse, four to six players compete in deathmatches. These last five minutes each.
• In the character selection, characters from all parts of the franchise are available.
• Series-typical bioweapons are also used. These are specially implemented, as players experience a transformation after their demise and are thus capable of acts of revenge.

Important for console gamers: Resident Evil Re:Verse is compatible between console generations, just like the main game. For example, anyone who buys Resident Evil Village for the PlayStation 5 will get the PS4 version and be able to play it. This includes a later upgrade of the game to the next-gen versions when they are ready.
