Samsung Galaxy A80 Backup - how to back up your data

It can always happen that the smartphone is stolen or broken. So that in such a case no important data is lost, it is important to create regular backups. On the Samsung Galaxy A80, you have various options for creating a backup of your data.

Back up your data with the data backup app

The easiest way to back up the data on your Samsung Galaxy A80 is using the data backup app.

1. Start the data backup app.
2. Now choose where you want to save the backup. You can choose from the integrated memory, a microSD card if available or a computer if connected. Tap "Next" to confirm your selection.
3. You now get an overview of the data on the A80 and have the option to specify which data should contain the backup.
4. Tap "Backup" to start the backup process. Depending on the size and number of data, the process may take more or less time. Make sure that the smartphone is not turned off or locked during the backup.
5. Once the backup is complete, you will receive a notification and you can use your A80 again as usual.

Backup via cloud

In addition to the local storage options, you can also use the Samsung Cloud to back up your backups.

1. To do this, call up the settings and tap on "Cloud and accounts".
2. Tap there on "Samsung Cloud" and then on "Backup settings."
3. You now have the option to set up an automatic backup or create a manual backup.
4. Select which data should be backed up and finally tap on "Backup now".
