Facebook: Delete posts - how to do it

On Facebook, posts are posted with a few clicks. Have you made a mistake or shared something wrong, but this is no reason to panic, because you can delete your own posts at any time again.

This is how deleting posts in Facebook is possible

Having posted a post on Facebook that you now want to delete again, this is possible with just a few clicks. All you have to do is search for the corresponding post in your history and tap the icon with the three dots next to it. This will open a context menu where you can tap on the "Delete" option to remove the post from your history.

1. If you have noticed that a post is incorrect after you have sent it, it is not absolutely necessary to delete it. Instead, rather make changes by opening the "three-dot menu" of the post and tap there on "Edit post".
2. If you do not want to delete or edit the post, the third option available to you is to hide the post in the chronicle. This is also possible in the context menu of the post by selecting the appropriate option.

How to delete a Facebook Story

Have you posted a post in the Facebook Story, it is automatically deleted after 24 hours. However, you also have the option here to delete content from your Story before then. To do this, please tap on "Your Story" and go to the post, picture or video that you want to delete. Then tap there on the top right on the "three-dot icon" and select "Delete".
