Firefox: Enable Dark Theme - how to change the design

Most browsers offer you the possibility to make various changes to the design. For this purpose, there are numerous themes that you can download and use for free. For the Firefox browser, there is also the Dark Theme, with which you can darken the browser in all windows.

Enable the Dark Theme in Firefox

In Firefox you have the possibility to customize the browser with different themes. If you would like to make the browser dark, the Dark Theme is a good choice. This will display the bars black and the browser background anthracite.

1. Open the Firefox browser on your computer.
2. Click on the top right of the browser on the three horizontal bars to open the menu.
3. In the drop-down menu, then select the option "Add-Ons".
4. Here you will find the item "Themes" on the left side. Click on this.
5. Now you can set the Dark Theme via the "activate" button.
6. Followed by this, Firefox start page and the table bars are displayed dark.
7. If you want to display all web pages dark, this works via the add-on "Dark Background and Light Text".
