Create GIFs in Photoshop - this option is available

If you can't find a suitable GIF from the numerous GIFs on the Internet, then you can create your own GIF using several individual images. Photoshop offers the appropriate functions for this purpose as well.

How to create a GIF in Photoshop

On the Internet you can find numerous GIFs, which usually have a funny content. However, if you need a special animation for your website or social media platforms, then it is usually necessary to create your own GIF. For this, Photoshop offers you all the appropriate functions. Before you start, however, you need all the images that are to be compiled into an animation. Then these must be imported into a Photoshop project.

1. Click on "File" in the top bar in the project. Select the "Scripts" option in the drop-down menu.
2. Now select the "Load files in batch" button here to import the images.
3. Select all images and confirm the selection via the "Open" button. Confirm again via "OK".
4. In the next step it is necessary to insert the timeline. This can be achieved via "Window" > "Timeline".
5. Once the panel has been inserted, click on the center where the arrow is located.
6. Here you select "Create frames from layers".
7. Once the process is complete, you can play the animation via "Play".
