If you don't get any acoustic feedback from your iPhone anymore, you probably have it muted. With the mute function, however, there are two different variants, causing confusion for many users.

1. Take your iPhone to hand and check the set volume on your iPhone.
2. Through the switches on the side of the case, you can set louder and softer.
3. Note that the volume of the ringtone and the volume for media are not identical and can be adjusted separately.
4. When adjusting the volume, also make sure that the icon below the volume control is not crossed out.
5. Should this be the case, tap the switch so that the smartphone is no longer muted.

1. About your iPhone, you can additionally set the function that you do not want to be disturbed.
