Balancing your PayPal account: how it works

A negative account balance is never nice and should therefore be rectified as soon as possible. With PayPal, this is even more true, as the service has fully arrived in the online everyday life.

PayPal: Balance account with giropay or bank transfer

In case of a negative PayPal balance, this will be displayed to you directly after login. To balance, proceed as follows:

1. Open the "Deposit money" area.
2. There you will see two options: "Deposit money" and "Deposit money with giropay".

If you use giropay, PayPal will automatically take you to the appropriate page on giro2.de. Enter the required amount and handle the process.Without giropay you can use your normal bank account. PayPal will give you the IBAN to which you can transfer the money normally. It is important that you transfer from an account that has the same name as your PayPal account. Otherwise, the payment can not be assigned.
