When it comes to sound problems, you should not only think about driver and software errors. Often, it is also simple things that lead to strange noises or sound dropouts. Problems with the sound can have diverse causes. Therefore, you should perform a series of tests to narrow down the problem.

You should perform these tests

  1. Select audio device: Click on the speaker icon at the bottom right of the taskbar. Select the correct output device here.
  2. Sound settings: Right-click the speaker icon at the bottom right of the taskbar, then select Open Volume Mixer. As a test, set each slider to full volume.
  3. Troubleshoot: Type "audio troubleshooter" in the Windows search box. Select "Detect and fix sound playback problems" and run the diagnostics.
  4. Check cables: Make sure the cables on your speaker and sound card are connected correctly. Usually, the cable in your sound card should be connected in the green jack. Versuchen Sie auch ein anderes Kabel anzuschließen und stellen Sie sicher, dass der Lautsprecher mit Strom versorgt wird.
