Amazon Prime Video: Set up profiles - this is how it works

It took a long time, but now multiple profiles are also possible with Amazon Prime Video. Our guide explains how to create and manage profiles and gives practical tips.

By popular demand: Prime Video users had to wait a long time for different profiles.

Streaming accounts are often used by several people. With different profiles, the overview is maintained.

Amazon Prime Video: A total of up to six different profiles possible

In the browser view, you will find the profile management at amazon.com/gp/video/profiles.

• There, your main profile is already set up by default.
• In addition, there is a Kids profile. This is intended to limit the selection to adult, child-friendly content.
• You can add more profiles via "Add new". In addition to the main profile, up to five additional profiles are allowed; whether for children or adults, is thereby freely selectable.
• With "Edit Profile" you can rename or delete profiles.

The introduction of the feature took place in July 2020. Not included at this time were other functions such as PIN passwords and profile pictures. Whether these are in planning, is currently unknown.
