Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, PUBG for short, is an online multiplayer shooter that was released on Steam in March 2017. Since then, the popularity of the game has grown rapidly. Many players are hoping for an offline mode, as this would allow them to play against bots and practice with the various characters.

Is it possible to play Playerunknown's Battlegrounds offline?

PUBG is a Battle Royale-style multiplayer shooter. Many players have been wishing for an offline mode to train against bots since the game's release.

1. There is no offline mode for Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. The game is only playable with a working internet connection.
2. Also, a mode to fight bots has not been confirmed yet, and there doesn't seem to be any such mode in the works.
3. Neither is there any possibility in sight where you can test weapons or explore the world.

Even though there won't be an offline mode, new online modes will be released from time to time. In 2018, the mode "War" was released, which serves as a team deathmatch. In it, three teams, each consisting of ten players, play against each other. As soon as a player dies, he rejoins via the plane and joins in the fight. The test phase ended after just one weekend. The mode is to be tested however still more frequently and possibly for a longer time published.
