Origin: Enable offline mode - how to play without internet

The Origin client will automatically connect online if possible. If you don't want to be online at all, you can simply switch to offline mode. Read how to do it.

The Origin client's offline mode can be started and also stopped without any effort.

The offline mode is compatible with most single-player games, for multiplayer titles it depends on the game whether it is possible to start without an Internet connection.

Origin: Start offline mode - here's how

For offline mode, only two clicks are necessary:

1. Click on "Origin" in the top left corner.
2. Select "Go Offline".

Your Origin client will then no longer have an Internet connection. This also means that you will no longer be able to use some features. For example, not all game details are visible, digital purchases are also not possible, just like accessing your friends list and chats. To change this again, you can always turn off the offline mode and go online again.
