MILES: Reserving a car - are there any costs involved?

Car sharing cars are not always right at your doorstep. For that, the reservation is all the more important. We explain how reservations are made with MILES and whether costs are incurred.

With MILES, it's primarily about kilometers, not time. However, this applies from the start of the journey, because the clock plays a role in the reservation.

MILES: What you need to know about vehicle reservation

For reservation at MILES, you should know this info:

• In principle, the reservation is always free for the first 15 minutes. In this time you should make it to the car in most cases.
• If you need more time, you can extend the reservation for a fee. This costs 9 cents per minute.
• If you extend the reservation directly by, for example, 30 minutes, this results in 2.70 euros. However, if you activate the car earlier, for example after 15 minutes, the remaining 15 minutes are not charged.

You thus always pay only for the time during which the car was actually reserved.
