Football Manager 2021: The system requirements - are there any changes?

For a game like Football Manager 2021, the question about the system requirements is not too important at first glance. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see whether the specifications have changed compared to its predecessor.

Almost everything is the same: FM 2021 asks for a bit more RAM, but remains very moderate in its requirements.

Manager games like Football Manager traditionally live on the inside rather than the outside. For Football Manager 2021, this means that a high-end computer is not necessary.

Football Manager 2021: These are the system requirements

For Football Manager 2021, there is also only an indication of the minimum requirements. These are also partly relatively vague:
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 / AMD Athlon 64 (at least 1.8 GHz)
  • Graphics card: GeForce 9600M GT / ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 / Intel GMA X4500
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
These requirements sound more than feasible, however, it is noticeable that they have been increased in places compared to Football Manager 2020, doubling the recommended RAM. At the same time, it is still true that the processor does the main work, since the data volumes can become enormous. The graphics card, on the other hand, plays virtually no role, as even the 3D match view is from a different era.
