Football Manager 2020: System requirements check

Manager games, as we all know, do not live on their graphical splendor. Football Manager 2020 is no exception. Nevertheless, you should familiarize yourself with the system requirements before buying.

From low to high: Football Manager 2020 also benefits from strong PCs.

At the latest since the free phase on Steam in March 2020, Football Manager 2020 has been absolutely on trend. All the more important is the look at the technical requirements.

Football Manager 2020: The system requirements

In the system requirements, the developer Sports Interactive gives only the minimum configuration:
  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 / Intel Core 2 / AMD Athlon 64 (2.2 GHz)
  • Graphics card: Intel GMA X4500 / GeForce 9600M / AMD Mobility Radeon HD 3650
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
These specifications sound temptingly low, but should be taken with a grain of salt. Although the graphics card does not have to do much work, the huge amounts of simulated data demand computing power. Thus, the 7 GB of storage space can be reserved on an SSD, and a lot of working memory and a good processor are at least as positive. A decisive factor here is the number of simulated leagues, which you can set yourself. It therefore applies: The stronger the PC, the more leagues it may be.
