• The account cannot be terminated if it is in the negative. The outstanding amount you must in any case settle before.
• If there are credit cards associated with the account, you must return them with the termination to the Berliner Sparkasse.
• If there is still remaining credit on the account, you must either transfer it before or you specify in the termination letter an account to which it should be transferred.
• The termination must be in writing in any case, otherwise it is not legally binding. In the cover letter include all important information such as your name and address and the account number of the account you want to close.
• You can send the termination letter by mail, e-mail or fax to Berliner Sparkasse.
