Cancel your BookBeat subscription - how to cancel

If you no longer want to use your BookBeat subscription, you can cancel the service. How to do so depends on whether you use the app or the web version of the audiobook streaming service.

How to cancel your BookBeat subscription

You can cancel your BookBeat membership at any time via your user account on the website. Follow these steps to cancel your BookBeat subscription via the BookBeat website:

1. Go to BookBeat in your browser and log in with your user data.
2. Open the account settings and switch to the "Subscription" category. You will then see an overview of the tariff you have booked.
3. Click on the option "Cancel subscription".
4. State why you are terminating the membership. For this, select one of the predefined reasons for termination or specify your own via the feedback field.
5. Finally click on "Terminate". You will then receive an email with the confirmation.

Cancel subscription via the BookBeat app

1. Open the BookBeat app and access your profile.
2. Call up the "Account information". You will then be automatically redirected to the BookBeat website.
3. Tap on "Overview" and then on "Subscription".
4. Select the option "Cancel Subscription" and enter a reason for cancellation.
5. Finally tap on "Cancel".

If you have taken out a two-week trial subscription and cancel, the subscription will be terminated immediately and you will no longer be able to use the service. If you want to take full advantage of the trial period, you should terminate the membership only on the last day.
