How to use Apple Pay with your Sparkassen-girocard

The following info you should know about the use:

• Since September 2020, you can set up your Sparkassen-girocard with Apple Pay.
• This even makes the Sparkasse the first bank in Germany to make a girocard compatible with Apple Pay.
• Once set up, the familiar advantages apply: you no longer need a wallet or EC card to shop, if there is a card reader. At this you can namely simply hold your cell phone.

In addition, Apple Pay is also usable with Apple Watches. Your digital everyday devices thus become a recognized means of payment and this is extremely practical in many situations.
