Lime was founded in California and is one of four major sharing providers offering e-scooters for rent in various German cities. For example, you can find Lime's green and white scooters in Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich, among other cities. For the use of its scooters, Lime charges, in addition to a basic fee of 1 euro, between 0.20 and 0.25 euros per minute.

These steps are necessary to rent a scooter from Lime

Before you can rent an e-scooter from Lime, it is necessary that you download the app of the sharing provider. This is called "Lime - always mobile" and is available free of charge in the App Store or the Google Play Store.

1. Once you have installed the app on your smartphone, please open it, set up a new user account and load it with credit via PayPal or credit card.
2. Then call up the map within the app and search it for available scooters in your area.
