Hearthstone Battlegrounds: All info on the new game mode

In view of the really big announcements at BlizzCon 2019, news about Hearthstone almost went under. Yet the new game mode Battlegrounds promises a lot of fun - that's why we present all the info.

Hearthstone is free and has been able to inspire many players from the beginning. With Battlegrounds now follows an interesting variant of the game principle.

Hearthstone: Battlegrounds as Auto-Chess mode

Battlegrounds is an Auto-Chess variant of Hearthstone. Auto-Chess is about buying units and improving them via upgrades. The best-known representative so far is Dota Underlords; Hearthstone now wants to have a say in this segment.

• At the beginning you decide on one of two bosses (of a total of 24).
• After that you recruit servants in the inn. These are divided into four factions (demons, mechs, murlocs and wild animals).
• The fight against other players follows. The important thing is that the fight is fought automatically by the characters - the name Auto-Chess sends its regards.
• The rounds are not too long with 10 to 20 minutes and that makes for entertaining fun.

Final published Battlegrounds is not yet. From 5 to 12 November runs the closed beta phase, in which, for example, owners of the virtual BlizzCon ticket can participate. This will be followed directly by the open beta for all players before the gold release. A date for this, however, there is not yet.
