Science career in the Sims 4

To start a career as a scientist in the Sims 4, the first step is to look for a job. This can be done either by phone or on the computer. To do this, select the phone and click first on the "house icon" and then on "Search job". On the computer, go to the job search alternatively to "Career" > "Search job". If you choose a career as a scientist in The Sims 4, you'll usually start in a scientific laboratory, where you'll only be allowed to produce and test various serums for the time being. What ingredients you need for the serums can be found in your notebook.
  • For some ingredients that you need for inventions or serums, you will have to make an excursion. For example, near your workplace you can find various rocks that you can use.
  • You also have the option of assigning your colleagues to do various things for you. These include tasks such as conducting experiments, building inventions or working on rockets.
  • Furthermore, you can decide whether you want to be a good or evil scientist. As an evil scientist, you can, for example, freeze tourists who visit the laboratory. Of course, you can also use your knowledge for useful inventions and purposes, and even discover aliens with it.

Career levels - what you need to know

The career ladder in Sims 4 is represented in so-called career levels. Depending on the level, you will have different working hours and earnings. To move up, you must meet certain requirements. In the science career, for example, breakthroughs are necessary for this. Für den Aufstieg vom Labortechniker (Level 1) zum Erfindungsassistenten (Level 2) brauchen Sie zwei Durchbrüche.
