To get new features for your Mac and the applications installed on it, it is necessary to check for and install updates regularly. If you frequently work with Terminal on your Mac, you can also use it to check for updates. To do this, first navigate to "Applications" > "Utilities" > "Terminal.app" to open the console. Then enter the command "sudo softwareupdate -list" and confirm with the "Enter" key. After entering your password and confirming again with Enter, you will be shown a list of all available updates.

Mac: How to install available updates via Terminal
