In order to play popular Epic Games games like Fortnite not alone, but together with others in multiplayer mode, it is necessary to add these people as friends. This is possible directly in the Epic Games launcher. We will show you how to proceed correctly.

Epic Games is the developer of well-known and popular computer games such as Fortnite, Gears of War or Unreal Tournament. All of these games are thereby playable on the PC only in the Epic Games Launcher specially developed by the company, which in turn can be downloaded for free from the Epic Games website.

This is how you add friends in the Epic Games Launcher

Since the games Fortnite and Gears of War also support a multiplayer mode, you have the possibility to play them together with your friends. For it to work, however, it is necessary that you add your friends in the Epic Games Launcher beforehand.

1. To do this, please open the Epic Games Launcher and click on the "Friends" tab, which is located in the program on the left.
2. Thereupon, a new window opens, in which you first click on the "Plus sign" and then on "Add friend".
3. To add your friends, you now have three ways to choose from. Either search specifically for the nickname or email address your friends are registered with Epic Games or use the social networks.
4. Once you have found your friends, please click "Send" to send a friend request.
